Special Religious Education (SRE)

NSW public schools offer Special Religious Education (SRE) and special education in ethics, delivered by approved providers wherever available.

A feature of the public education system in NSW is the opportunity to provide time in class for education in ethics, faith and morality from a religious or non-religious perspective at the choice of parent/carer(s).

At our school, we have SRE six times a year.

During the online enrolment process, parent/carer(s) are able to choose their child's SRE, or on request we can provide a copy of our SRE participation letter. This form will need to be returned to the front office.

After the initial enrolment, notification of changes to a child's enrolment in SRE should be given to where, in writing.
